(SENIOR SECONDARY) 12TH COURSES

In the senior secondary school certificate course those who have completed 16 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought for after qualifying in the entrance test prescribed to pursue senior/ higher secondary courses under the open distance learning mode

A total of 5 Subjects are to be selected from the following:-

SELECTION PROCESS (For ARTS Stream):

 

1.       Compulsory Subject is English only.

2.       Select any one regional language includes Hindi (Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Assamese, Mizo, Manipuri, Nepali, Tibitan, Bhutia and Arabic).

3.       Select 3 optional subjects (History / Geography/ Political Science / Psychology / Home Science / Painting / Computer Science / Physical Education / Music / Economics / Sociology/ Mathematics / Environmental Science).

1.       Each Subject scores 100 Marks.

2.       Minimum for a Pass: 35 Marks out of 100 in each subject.

3.       For the subjects consisting of Theory and Practical Examinations Minimum Marks for a pass is (15 out of 60 / 10 out of 40) in Theory and (10 out of 40 / 15 out of 60) in Practical.

SELECTION PROCESS (For COMMERCE Stream):

1.       Compulsory Subject (English, Accountancy & Business Studies)

2.       Select any one regional language includes Hindi (Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Assamese, Mizo, Manipuri, Nepali, Tibitan, Bhutia and Arabic).

3.       Select an optional subject (Mathematics / Economics).

1.       Each Subject scores 100 Marks.

2.       Minimum for a Pass: 35 Marks out of 100 in each subject.

1.       Compulsory Subject (English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics)

2.       Select any one regional language includes Hindi (Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Assamese, Mizo, Manipuri, Nepali, Tibitan, Bhutia and Arabic).
