SECONDARY LEVEL (X)

In the high school certificate (10th class) course those who have completed 14 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought for on the basis of and declaration to the effect that the candidate has studied enough to be able to pursue secondary certificate course under the open learning mode.

 

A total of 6 Subjects are to be selected from the following:-

SELECTION PROCESS:

1.       Compulsory Subjects (English, Mathematics, Science & Technology and Social Science)

2.       Select any one regional language includes Hindi (Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Assamese, Mizo, Manipuri, Nepali, Tibitan, Bhutia and Arabic).

3.       Select a practical subject (Home Science, Painting, Computer Science and Physical Education & Music).

Note: -

1.       Each Subject scores 100 Marks.

2.       Minimum for a Pass: 35 Marks out of 100 in each subject.

3.       For the subjects consisting of Theory and Practical Examinations Minimum Marks for a pass is (20 out of 75 / 10 out of 40) in Theory and (07 out of 25 / 15 out of 60) in Practical.
